I think I'm ready to go from v4r5 to v5r2....... before I shoot myself in the foot. Does v5r2 still support the original IBM http server? I'm thinking support ends in v5r3. I have an app that uses net.data still in production and of course the developer has been outsourced.

Yes. Although it comes with Apache the old http server is still there and runs. Bit worried about your comment about 5.3 as we will be updating in a couple of weeks. Better check that one out!

We just 'jumped' from V4R5 to V5R3 (AS/400e-720 to i520 upgrade). I was using the Orginal HTTP Server on V4R5 and was able to migrate it to Apache HHTP Server on V5R3. There is an option to migrate an Original HTTP Server to Apache if you use the ADMIN instance. I was pleased to find it worked. Also, if CGI is set up correctly, net.data still functions under V5R3. Hope this helps.
