Can you expand on the yes to Analogue. I have a customer who had an old PBX system which connected via E&M to a cisco router. They have upgraded their PBX to a BCM 400 and have told us that they can no longer have E&M connection. What analogue interfaces does the BCM 400 support. Trunk interfaces or extension interfaces?
The BCM supports loop-start trunks via a GATM module, DID(inbound only) analog trunks via a ADID module. It will support analog E&M, but only with the correct equipment installed. That would require FEM module, Norstar Trunk Module and E&M trunk cartridge. These trunks require all 8 connections. T,R,T1,R1,E,SG,M,SB.
