It appears our new 7936 Conference Stations only work in Half Duplex Mode. Our User Community has noticed a difference between these new units and the old Polycomm Conference Phones we had on our Nortel PBX which were Full Duplex. Does anyone know if the 7936's can operate in Full Duplex? Thx

Thanks for this information. I'm wondering if there may be some settings on the switch port that need to be changed to accomodate full duplex because eventhough, as the product info says, it has Full Duplex capabilities, our 7936's are clearly not operating in that mode now.

There are two different types of full duplex: full duplex audio and full duplex Ethernet. Which one are you referring to ? One has nothing to do with the other.

Regardless, the 7936 supports full duplex audio as well as full duplex Ethernet connections.

Sorry, I should clarify, my concern is related to poor audio in which it appears the 7936 is only working in half duplex.

Which half duplex are you referring to? Ethernet half duplex or half duplex on the speakerphone? I'm assuming that you mean Ethernet half duplex. If that's the case, set both sides of the connection to AUTO and you should be fine.

I'm referring to on the speakerphone. When more than one person speaks at a time the audio is choppy
