Does sp_serveroption have any security implications?

Hi there,

I wrote a stored procedure that looks on all SQL Servers is a certain login exists, but I have to run the sp_serveroption command else I receive the error:
&quot;Error Description : Server '<Server Name>' is not
configured for DATA ACCESS.&quot;

I want to know that if I run the sp_serveroption command if it will have any security implications on my servers?
