Does "Return to AA" also return to CCR Home Node?

We are preparing to purchase a Nortel BCM system with Callpilot, and are in the process of designing our CCR trees.
We want outside callers to be able to get to another extension if they get someones voice mail, instead of leaving a message (the caller needs to be able to choose the extension).

I have seen elsewhere in this forum that if "Return to Auto-Attendant" is on, then a caller will be returned to the AA or CCR Home Node after leaving a message.. which would allow them to dial "*" at the message prompt and then dial the extension.

Is this the best way to accomplish this? If we are using CCR Trees instead of the AA, will it still work???

Thanks for you help!

you cannot use a CCR without the AA,

return to AA returns to AA
in the ccr you may specify an option to return to the home menu

setting return to AA 'yes' turns on the * key. Pressing the * while listening to a greeting will return you to the beginning of the table of whatever line you're on. The caller will hear the table message or if CCR is enable to path 0. Enabling a CCR tree overides any "Use AA prompts" setting.
