Does OT AS encryption disturb NAS Deduplication?

Hello,

We are planning to enforce encryption through Archive server and today the NAS compress the data and enforce deduplication as well for better storage. Does the AS encryption disturb this process, meaning affect deduplication and double the storage? Does anyone come across this scenario?
