Does ODBC access to BCM system config data exist?

Does anyone who's a member of the Nortel Developer's Program know if there is an ODBC driver into the BCM system configuration data. Want to understand what the SDK and API actually provide before we decide to join. The thinking is we could connect into the BCM using Crystal Reports (or another reporting tool) to automate a simple phone directory report. BEM is fine for configuration, but it is clearly not a reporting tool. Is this possible?

BTW - We have BCM400 rel 4.0 and BCM50's running 3.0
