Does Octel Play announcements

I have a DID that is playing a very old announcemnt. I went through all our announcemnts and can not find this annon. I did a list trace on the DID which is a xported station and has a CP to go to voice mail. How can I find this announcement.

forgot to mention, it is an octel 250

Look for a mailbox that has the same number as the DID xported station and that will be it in most case's

you are correct the DID has a MB as the same it is a mb type 35 conditional transfer.. How can I follow the call path? where are these messages recorded ? In the Octel ? I need to change these messages press 1 , 2 and 3 .as they are very old and incorrect? I would like to be able to understand how this all works.

Well in the type 35 it will show a att available mailbox and att unavailable mailbox or they may be the same. That is the mailbox or boxes to make the changes.

When you find them you call into them to rerecord the greeting and change the callers menu.

If you are new to the Octel we have classes that teach Octel Admin.
