does loadVariables() work in .exe file?

I want to export some flash file to .exe format. But inside that file, there are serveral loadVariables() actionscript functions.

so my question is that: will those loadVariables() functions stil work? If not, could you tell me how to fix the problem?

Best way to find out... Would be to output your .swf as an .exe and try it out, no?
I mean... What's the worst that can happen?
