Does Legato backup purgable data in Netware?

We recently deleted about 70GB worth of data on our Netware 6 server. We want to keep the data around for awhile just in case we need to recover it, so we are not going to purge the deleted files just yet. My question is, will Legato backup this purgable data during our full backup or not? I am not wanting it to, I already have a copy of the data before it was deleted.

I assume that you are using a HSM software or similar for
Netware. NW should handle purged files fine. I know he does
it for Windows but i never tried it with Netware.

Do a manual backup of just a fraction and you will see. Do
NOT only rely on the file size only but really look at the
amount written to the backup media. This shall help you.
