I have a B&W project. All of my photos are grayscale. If I print the project from InDesign everything is fine, however if I export it as a PDF file and print from it, the B&W images are slightly colored. I suspect it's a PDF engine problem. No, I am not using rich black.

In the OUTPUT of the PDF export, do you have "No Color Conversion" selected?

Also, exporting to PDF is not the only way to make a PDF.

You can also Print to PDF, if you have Acrobat Pro installed it should be an option in the dialog box.

The Output section of the Print Dialog box you can print as Composite Gray.

But yes, make sure you have the option of No Colour Conversion selected in the PDF options.
