Does Flash crash a lot normaly?

I am enjoying using and learning Flash 4.0 but every half hour or so it regularly crashes spectacularly ! I alwqays have to ensure that I save the work  as soon as I get the first symptom and then immediately end task and re boot the programme before continuing...I dont mind doing this buit I just wondered if anyone else is having the same issue? and is there anything I can do to improve the performance?

I used to have a problem where it crashed a lot. Turned out it was a graphics card problem - step back the colours by one (from 32 bit to 16 bit or whatever). It may work for you too.
