Does Crystal Reports v. 10 automatically account for daylight savings time changes, or do I have to handle it with a formula?
I cannot find this issue on the businessobjects site.
If anyone has info, it will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rory

Define what you mean.

Your computer accounts for daylight savings time.

To do so in Crystal, this would be based on the database, some of which support timechanges in some fashion.

There's a ufl for adjusting at

Sorry I wasn't more clear..
We are using a Sql Server db.
This is what is happening:
We ran a report with today's date as print time.
There are (minimally) 3 dates involved:
11/29/04 15:05
2/17/05 9:46
4/15/05 11:56
Our dba checked her dates in the database and came up with these for those particular records:
11/29/04 2:06
2/17/05 8:46
4/15/05 11:56
If we use a formula to adjust them, two will match the db and one won't and vice versa.
The db time is correct and the server time is correct and our pc times are correct.
Hope this is a little clearer.
Thanks,
Rory

I gather that you mean if you use a formula that doesn't allow for time changing then it doesn't work...

Check out the UFL or add or subtract hours as you need based on the date.
