Hello,

I have worked with Crystal Report 8.5, but never work with Crystal Enterprise. I'm trying to publish report to the intranet, but first of all I need to learn how to install Crystal Enterprise. Does it require to be tided to a server in order to successfully install the software? Please help if anyone has any suggestion? Any document that would be helpful is welcomed.

You can go to CD website and search through there technical briefs here:
I know they have an Installation guide there that requires payment but if you have the crystal enterprise cd, there should be help files on it that may give you the same information. There is also a very good book called "Administrating Crystal Enterprise 8.5" that will guide you through the process of installation, administration, and customization.

You will need to have a supported Web server up and running when you install Enterprise. This way the Web Connector, the virtual directories and app mappings will be set up for you.

Look to the CD for a file called platforms.txt for a list.

If you are installing to Win2k, might as well use IIS and use this box for playing around with before you go life to your production environment.

All the User Guides are on the CD in pdf format. Lots of info.
