Does CCMS peg Activity code during short call period?

I defined short call threshold for skillsets.
Also there are activity codes for agents.
Questions:
1. If agent input an activity code and disconnect the call before short call threshold, does the ccms peg activity code for this call?
2. If agent does not input activity code and disconnect the call before short call threshold, does the ccms peg default activity code for this call?
