Does BCM50e Support POE IP Phones?

Quick question. I have a BCM50E and I would like to replace my 7316E's for 1140E's. Do the 3 additional RJ45 connections built in the BCM50E support POE connections? I can't find any info on this.

Nope, there isn't any POE capability on those ports.

For the next closest match, you'll have to buy a BES50 switch, which can provide 12 PoE ports

stick with poe. you can use one battery backup for all the phones with a poe data switch instead of a battery backup per phone without it.

I will stick with POE for sure. I just have to by a switch sooner than later. Thanks for the input.
