Hello, I am new (inherited) to R12 and need to install the agent on a new production server. Does the agent need a reboot?

Also do I need to do anything for the license on the old server as it is to be wiped and re-purposed.

Thanks
djj

Sorry I forgot. This is a Windows 2003 server.

Oh this reboot thing.

New install no, re-install usually not.

I'm not good with licensing, but I think it is done at the backup server as a # of clients, so you should not need to do anything with the old server.

Thank you for the reply. I found we have the license for two more machines (agents) so we are legal even before the old machine is wiped.
