Does anyone know what the Foreign Security Principles OU is in Active Directory? I have company which already has a Forest/Tree/Domain Active Directory at one site. They want to deploy active directory company wide now without touching this site. The new domain will include Exchange 2000. My thought was to install the new domain in the same FOREST, but as a new domain so I will have a Multi-tree, Single Forest Active Directory. How do I get the existing users to get their mail from the new Exchange2000 server in the new domain? Does the trust handle the communication with the Exchange Server. I would think so, but do I have to create an account on both domains for new users? I ask this because of the need for a mailbox on the new domain?

Any ideas?
 
The Foreign Security Principles OU is a pre-installed container object which provides backward compatibility with Windows NT. They look and act like organizational units, and for this particular OU, shows trust relationships with other domains.

Since there is a trust between domain, you won't need to create user accounts in both.
