Does Anyone know what a Talk Battery Filter Does?

Usually, talk battery filters clean the noise off the power supply to get nice, flat DC for the talk path. "Talk Battery" and "Relay Battery", also known as "A battery" and "B battery", go way back to step-by-step days. There were separate power supplies for the talk path and the switching functions, so that the noise from the relays did not pass into the receiver as clicks and static.
