Does anyone know the history of the Eclipse telephone system? My research seems to show that it started off as part of the Executone line until good old Executone was acquired by Inter-Tel in 2000.

Can someone set/get the record straight please?

Thank you in advance,

Memory is fading...
I believe Eclipse was the name given to the Intertel Axxess product that would support Executone IDS telephones. The product was intended to be different than Axxess and sold by Executone dealers, so that the two could co-exist in a given marketplace. I'm actually certified on the product. Total installed outside of the office? Zero.
