Hi,

Does anyone know of a website that shows you how your site will display in different browser and browser versions?

Thanks,
Dan

I couldn't find any myself a while back so I downloaded and installed 4 browsers.

Wish I could have been more of a help.

i'm not sure there is site like that (or program)... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

thanks for the response. Much appreciated.

Well What I know about browser is that exist 7 different main browsers around the world, But if u try to create a website base using all of them u'll find great differences.
Is a better Idea use the 3 main and more used : Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape and American Online.

Try to test ur websites with this 3. If u live in the united states find American Online is gonna be pretty easy as also the others they're free.

Ahhh, who cares how it looks in any browser other than IE. Netscape announced that they are "no longer to be considered a browser company", so they are all but obsolete (as if they ever were no obsolete to begin with).

And all the other browsers worth mentioning follow the same WC3 guidlines that IE already does.

I know there are sites that do this - I've found them in the past, but no longer have a bookmark to them :-(

If you can afford to pay for it, you could try NetMechanic's service, at - even if you don't use it, there's some useful information on browser compatabilities etc.

If it's any help, you can see what your site looks like on a text browser (Lynx) at
Hope that helps. TandA

Yea, there are some out there...I remember one and I think it was the netmechanics (haven't gone to the site yet, but didn't theirs have a lil guy w/ a wrench dressed in blue or something?...like a cartoon dude?

But it gave you errors on the page, tested all resolutions and everything...I remember they had some 'free' tests, and some tests you had to pay for... Regards,
