Does anyone know of a product, add-on or technique that would allow a user to perform a search within a web application. The search would look within documents like a Verity or other search engines do. But the kicker is to have the application open the document with user focused in on the part of the document containing the keywords from the sort. Kind of like bookmarks or anchors on a web page but the 'page' would be a Word Document.

Verity can return the document that contains the keywords but not open the document to an exact location.

Any help with this or pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

I may be confused here, are you trying to use the JS file on a website and have it open a word document?? or trying to use the JS to search inside of the word document??
If it's the first one, then just point the URL to the right directtion, such as: myfile.doc, and make sure the .doc file is on the server...
If it's the second one then i'm sorry I misunderstood the question and tried to offer help... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...
