At the command prompt, you can type 'vmdareq -display'. It will display all of the drives in your Tape Library and will have RESERVED next to the tape drive indicating that it currently has a tape in it's slot...(see example output below)

It's the tape in the Inport (or Mailslot, input/output port, loadport, or whatever you call it) of the ATL that I want to query. Just want to be able to see if there are any tapes in it.
