Does anyone know If you can get a Nortel Password through PASS if you have the maint contract

We are going to be taking over maintenace for some Nortel systems and the customer doesn't know the password? If you have a maintence contract through PASS would they be able to reset the pasword of provide the current one?

They should but they will probably charge for it because that is considered outside of the maintenance window.

Follow the security NTP for your release and reset the password.

What release of software are we referring about?. Since release 4.5, you need to use the reset command as stated above.

This may be a strange question but how do you issue a reset command if you can't log on? This is an otion 11C not sure of the release.

what is the software release? If you are pre-4.5 and you sit and search hard enough the web will provide you all you need to reset passwords. From 4.5 to current, the process is now outlined in the NTP's.

What is the minimum release you can get PASS on? I thought it is something like 5 or 5.5? True I forgot about the security ntp nice call there.
