Hi:
Does anyone know how to send serial commands to a device from the AIX command prompt? I am connected to several devices on a scsi daisy chain and would like for those devices to obey serial commands from the AIX command prompt. Here is what I mean, if I connect directly to the serial port of the device that I have already connected to the RS/6000 through a SCSI connnection, the PC on the serial connection has a whole series of commands that I can send over the serial connection that I cannot send over the AIX SCSI connection.
