What I am looking to do is make a boot CDROM for Solaris 6, 7, or 8. This would be just like the O/S boot CDROM. You know how you can “boot cdrom –s” and boot a scaled down version of Solaris. I would like to do the same thing, but I would like to have networking and one software client setup on the CDROM. This would give me a little boot recovery CDROM. I would think that this could be done. Dose anyone know how?
