hello everyone, i have many screens, prg, etc and i need to create a executable file. I also need to hide dbf files from no authorized peopl. I would like to ask is there any way to change .dbf extension to .dat or whatever. I think if i can change to .dat and if i have only an exe file it would be more difficult to open my application.
I would like to know which files i do need to include with my exe file.
thank you very much for your time
any help will be appreciated!!!!!

You can call a DBF a DAT. "Use MyTabble.DAT" would work fine.

As far as hiding them, you can make them a hidden file from the properties you get when you right-click a file in explorer.

There are other schemes for protecting data in tables including encryption depinding on what your actual situation is.
