I know it's there, but it seems that it works on "some" mail servers and not on others. Generally, you'll have to set up an account on the mail server for the Messaging, and maybe a network account as well. On the MErlin Messaging CD, there should be ample information for it.

The instructions are on the CD that came with the MESSAGING, or can be downloaded from AVAYA.

I am certain that one of the main requirements it that you must have your own EXCHANGE SERVER.

I have had only 1 client who could have made this happen, but their IT person was afraid to even try.

It's really not that difficult. As stated, you must be running MS Exchange server. The MM should show the IP address of the server. The ARP tables of the server should show the MM as a mail delivery agent. The mailbox names must correspond to the email address's. The VM are sent to the person's email as .wav files.

The most difficult part is setting up the ARP tables, if the the IT person is unfamiliar or unable to do this correctly, they most assuredly should hire someone to do it for them.

Thank You all very much I think I can find the info on that now. I thought it was some third party application. Thanks
