Does anyone have a free PPT converting softeware?

Here is the problem. I need to convert my powerpoint to video, as I have to show it without the help of a computer but a DVD player intead. I searched the Internet for a long time and found several softwares. But all of them has to be paid before like PPT2DVD. Then I found this from

It says it can retain all original effects like animations, audios, movie clips, slide transitions, etc. But I tried many times. Each time I would loss some of my origional animations. Do I really have to register it? I don't want to because I just need it for one time. Can anybody test it for me or recommend another kind of software which can satisfy my need?

Have you tried some of the not so free offerings, but use the free trials that are offered by some of the software vendors?
