If you want to be able to test your SQL statements prior to using them in an ASP page, you can use several databases including MS Access, Visual FoxPro, or SQL Server. Each has an environment that allows you to create a SQL statement, and execute it. If instead you are looking for examples, look in either the help for one of the above, or go to your local book store. there are literally hundreds of books available that cover SQL, ADO, etc.
CHEAT METHOD: Find an asp page on the internet that performs a function which you would like to use and download it using an up/down-load helper program such as NetButler™ they let you download any file off the web simply by telling them the URL to the file & the directory on your computer where you want to store it.
