Our company is implementing Crystal Enterprise to allow external users to view Crystal Reports that are residing on our Internal Network.

We have implemented Single Sign On for our internal users. As the result, when external users tried to view the reports outside of our network, they are challenged with NT login dialog box.

How can I by pass the NT login dialog box to allow external user to view the reports on our network?

Any advise will be greately appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,
It may need you to set up an additional site ( or maybe just a virtual directory on your site) that allows Anonymous Access or,perhaps you can create a 'generic' NT account with just 'view on demand' rights ( read only on the file system as well), and use that to hard code the login info into the start page for your external users..

Hi,

I have tried all that you have suggested in your email prior to I submitting the thread but none seemed to work for me. I keep on receiving the NT dialog box when never I access the viewerlogon.csp page in CMS.

To make the situtation a bit more complicated, we using URL reporting for this external site. I do know there's some limitation on using URL reporting.

I tried passing thru the generic login credential in the URL it didn't work. I also tried embedding the NT login credential in the logon.csp page, it didn't work either.

If there another way to by pass the NT login credential? Please advise.

Thanks!
