does any body know if aix works on netfinity servers??? and in aix how do you find hardware info. whats the command?

The new AIX 5L will run on the Netfinity Line...
Check out "sysinfo" at

for hardware info. Says the Manager to the person that invented the modem: "Tell me again why you need two prototypes?!?"

Actually, the official latest version, say AIX 4.3.3 only runs on RS/6000 (Power and PowerPC) hardware. These Netfinity servers are Intel PCs.

Nop till now .... it doesnt work on netfinity boxes .. coz those r intel chipsets and basically made for WIN NT.

to get the system configuration info. enter
#lscfg

well i went to bull website and support specs for aix 5L netfinity is supported....... or it says they have permission to create support for it. and thank you for help. You guys just made my day....... thks s-)
