Hey all,
Does creating a "Reservation" on one DHCP server create some type of "Exclusion" on the other DHCP server in my small domain?
Here's the situation: I set static IP addresses on all servers/computers that I use for "working" in the network. That way I'll always know how to access them using my Cisco VPN from home. My assistant recently assigned a reservation to a workstation on the first DHCP server and I was wondering if my second DHCP server would try to offer it an address later on, even though it has a reservation from the first DHCP server. Just wondering...
Thanks,
Joe B
