Hello all-

I am currently experienceing the following bug in Access xp:

Conditional formatting
If you apply conditional formatting to calculated controls, you may start an endless loop where the form recalculates continually and fails to display the results. This happens in Access 2000, and 2002. It also occurs in Access 2003 if Service Pack 1 has not been applied.

Workaround
Avoid using conditional formatting where the endless recalculation loop is triggered.

Does anyone have a better work around than the one given (just not using it)???

Thanks!
Adam

How are ya adamr99 . . . . .

Base the [blue]RecordSource[/blue] of the form on a query and [blue]perform the calculation in the query with a custom field[/blue]:
Code:
[blue]txtDueDate:[TheDate]+30[/blue]

See Ya! . . . . . .

Woops! . . . .

Don't forget to [blue]bind txtDueDate on the form[/blue] to the custom field!
