Hi,

is there any option to get the information in which folder a document is ?

Like, when a document is listed in 'All Documents' view, to see from which folder it actually comes from ?

Or is there a function I can call which returns that information ?

As far as I know there isn't. Our in-house programmer designed a function that could do this under Notes 5 but whe didn't use it any longer when we migrated to Notes 6 last year as it didn't work out the way we wanted it.

FYI, there will be a 'discover folder' facility available in Notes 7 when it arrives.

The easiest way to find which folder a mail is in is to mark the mail unread (highlight & press <Insert> key)in the view. The folder that it's in will then appear bold. Bit fiddly but it works OK.
