Hi Guys & Gals,

We are a recruitment agency and over the last couple of years people have posted over 9000 CVs which are all stored our web server hosted by our designers.

Were switching websites and our current designers known it and wont give us FTP access to get our files from the server.

The website has a search facility where you can click a link to view the CV. I'm not quite sure how it works but I think the CVs are stored in an unpublished directory. The links look like the following;

When you click the lick a download windows appears for the CV. The U10 bit of the link is different for each CV and each CV name is pretty much random.

Downloading 9000 this way would be a pain and as it’s not a direct link to the file Netants and multi downloader’s can’t seem to do it.

Does anyone know a program or way we can download all the CVs quickly?

Many Thanks,

James

Threatening them with legal action sometimes gets faster results.

(You actually do not have this information backed up anywhere outside of your host?)
