Before I got to work where I currently am, I didn't know it was possible. Now I know better: it's possible to generate a paper jam with a print job.
I use a Mita PrintSource Vi 310 with a Kyocera Mita Vi 230/310 (PCL) driver. The printer is connected to the (token ring) network with an Intel NetPortExpress Pro.
Someone came to me with the problem of a paper jam and I started from the beginning: Reset the printer and the Netportexpress. After the reboots I printed a test page and it came out fine. Then, I printed the first page (out of 13) of the (Word 2000) document; all went fine. Last I printed the entire document and at page one there was a paper jam. The happened a total of 3 times to there's no coïncidence here. Other documents from the same user/printer/driver/computer work fine.
I have a prn file, but no clue how to analyze the data it contains.
Any clue on how to ven start solving this problem?
Thanks in advance.
