I have a Docucolor 12 and attached to that is a Fiery X12 Color Server PS. When installing this on users computers as a network printer, sending prints to the printer takes a great deal of time. When setting it up as a local printer using an LPR port, users are able to send documents to it and have them print off within minutes. I have contacted Xeron and had a tech come out and they were unable to find any problems with this. Has anyone every experienced this before?

Thank You much!

Which ports are you using?
Direct: prints directly to the DC1250.
Print: uses the fiery to spool the job and keep in printed queue.
Hold: Holds it in the spool queue for you to rip and print when you are ready.

Direct is the fastest way to print.
