I have an Access2000 application that uses the DoCmd.SendObject code to send an email through Outlook when an event occurs. Under Windows XP it pops up a box for about 5 secondes and asks if you really want to send email (it assumes you are a malicious virus). Does anyone know how to disable that function?

This might seem simple, but have you tried

DoCmd.SetWarnings False
on Error Resume Next

Your code in here.....

DoCmd.SetWarnings True

BusMgr

unfortuately, setting the warnings in Access wont work. The popup window is created by Outlook and is part of the new security properties for Outlook. I have been reading a lot of articles at Microsoft trying to find a way to get around the popup. so far...no luck. :(

I will post back if I find something and I hope anyone who has an answer will do the same.
