I'm using form instances for bound forms. Three separate instances can be kicked off and running at any time. When I use the DoCmd.GoToRecord with the formname it will always fail when more than one instance is running. What alternatives are there to the DoCmd which do not require the formname? There are other designs I could use but I really don't want to abandon the form instancing. Everything works great except this.

I think, Steve, you need to be looking at the "RecordSetClone" which is the Form's active RecordSet and will, I believe, be different for each instance of the Form that you have running. I think you combine that with Bookmarks and you're well on the way. But it's been a long time since I've needed to use this construct!

I hope this is enough to give you some useful direction.

I believe that might work. I'll try it out tonight and will be meeting with the customer tomorrow morning to discuss the design.
