Docked/undocked users

Can my users be set up as undocked (therefore requiring sync) and docked (ie: live when in the home office) on the same lisence?

I realize this may be covered in the lis. docs but I have re-read a half dozen times, and must be an idiot, because I can't seem determine the answer.

An undocked license becomes a named license to that user. Therefore if the user is logging into the "docked" version of GoldMine it will use the named license.

In other words, your laptop users will have two shortcuts on their desktop -- one for the laptop (undocked) GoldMine that they use when they're out and about and another for the central GoldMine for when they're in the office and plugged into the LAN.

Of course, you'll want to make sure they sync one last time from the laptop version before they work on the LAN version all day...
