Appreciate any advice please
Have a multiple site setup with leased lines with site to site VPN links
Main fs is at head office
Now site a has created a word doc saved as .doc compatibility mode works ok
However when site b tries to access the file saved on fs, word will error can not open\\ xyz
If I change doc type to dock everything is perfect but not a option available
Wan tests fine from site b, no latency and good throughput.
All other files other.docs open fine except selected few, so was thinking corrupt files but they are fine from any pc on site a
Was thinking gpo issue, but y would that effect only certain doc files not all.
If I try to copy locally and open at site b all is ok, hence wan issue? But i ruled this out with wan tests + they can open larger doc files no problem just theses specific give errors
