If i click a .pdf file it opens a acrobat plug-in.
But when i try to open a .doc or .xls file nothing happens.
Do i have to have a office plug-in or what?
I am assuming you have some version of Office on your PC.
Try this, right-click on a .doc file, then click on Open With, you should see either Open with Windows Word OR the Open With dialog box. If its the dialog box scroll until you find Microsoft Word, then select Microsoft Word and also check the box for Always open the files...
