Do you know about Merant Data Direct connect ODBC?

I installed Merant Data Direct connect ODBC but I Can't find how does it work.
I'm trying to access and update clipper tables and indexes!

I have been install the demo version of Merant for Win client connection to Informix running on SCO but without success. Always, before finish of installation the setup crash and here the game is over. Now, I'm on Win95 with installed DCOM for W95 and MDAC 2.6.
