Hello;Do you guy's know if there's a problem with the email site mail.com? Ever since I updated adobe flash to latest version, and java, and shockwave.Windows asked to update them,so I said ok,in windows xp pro sp2,I go on this email site and some of my emails, the graphics are all grayed out? This just happened recently was ok,before these updates I think.I'm using explorer 8,and Fire Fox Browsers, doesn't seem to matter there.I tried emailing support on this site and no answer. All my other emails in Thunderbird Email all seem fine? Anyone know what's up with this? thanks.

No problem with my mail.com account. I'm running XP SP3 fully patched, Adobe Flash and Java at the latest versions, and Firefox.

Do you have your preferences set not to download HTML graphics in e-mail content? Open a problematic e-mail, scroll to the bottom of the message, and see if you have a message to the effect of "click here to download HTML graphics". Right next to it is a link to edit your preferences. I've left my preferences to block HTML graphics and just d/l them on a per e-mail basis.

Hope this helps.

thankyou cmeagan656,that was the problem. It was set to not download HTML graphics in the preferences.Don't know how it changed, but that was the problem.I don't remember changing it.It seems like it just happened overnight.Anyway Awesome,it's fixed now.Thankyou!

I think that the change was likely done by mail.com. I don't use my mail.com account as my main account so I don't know how long ago it may have changed but I know that I didn't change the setting on my account either. It just sort of "happened". I guess that I should read those emails that I get periodically from mail.com.

Hope this helps.

ya your right,I don't use it as my main account either, and it sorta just changed on it's own and kinda freaked me out, when I had no graphics.Guess we should read those mail.com emails once in a while hey.:) Glad it was an easy fix.Thankyou for the help.I should have known that, brain freeze I guess.
