Hello,

Our customer has CM S8300D version 5.2.1 main system and another CM S8300 as LSP for remote site

The S8300 used for LSP is out of service and no more working, we plan to replace it with new S8300 card

My question is about licence, do I need licence file for this LSP ?

If so, what should I give to Avaya, serial number of main S8300 card ?

Thank you in advance.

Avaya RFA license for LSP is based on serial number of the media-gateway it is inserted in.
statuslicense -v on the main CM to get Avaya RFA system ID and module ID.

Without a license and authentication file for the LSP, it will not register and file sync if they are not installed.

If you have a security backup for the LSP that can be restored to the replacement server, you may not need a new license and authentication file from Avaya.
