We currently have around 100 - 150 customers.
Each customer has his server and own database, of course.
Some of them have a 3Go Database - some tables have 3 millions of records.

It's an invoicing application (massive) with Inventory values and GL and Payables management.

So far, Interbase is responding to our needs.
But we have to perform a backup/restaure each night for some of them, because we are sometimes having trouble with corruption.

We are about to close a new contract with a bigger one: one of our table will possibly have 37 millions of records.
(Invoicing table)

Around 800 users will invoice, all the day...

Should we look for Oracle or keep it up with IB?

Even with Oracle: should we split stores and make an inter-database application? (where each store can ask for stock and prices from other stores)?

(sorry for my english, I speak french ;-))

Bonjour,
Bon chance.
