I create (insert) a small table - 6 columns, 2 rows - 'on the fly' in Word 2003, SP2

When it is placed at the end of the page, sometimes second row falls on the next page.

Is there any way to keep the table in one piece so it will be on the same page?

Have fun.

Hi,

Check out Format/Paragraph - Line & Page Breaks tab - pagination options.

Also check out Table Properties. UNCheck - "Allow row to break across pages".

You may want to make a TableText style that has "Keep with next" and "Keep together" (Format > Paragraphs > Line and Page Breaks). This also works to keep table contents together.

The problem with unchecking "Allow row to break across pages", is that if the table has contents longer than a page the table will break across the page anyway.

Thank you, I will try it.

Have fun.
