I have created a report - that I am happy with - which selects records through quite a complicated way.
What I need now is to be able to create mailing labels for these records. The data that contains fields such as address is still in the database - however a number of fields from the address table are used in the report.
I have tried to create a sub-report - but it just through it over the top of the existing data and did not use the same complicated selction criteria that was used to get the desiered records in the first place.
What I want to do is create another tab next to design and preview called (e.g.)mailing list and the data will look to the main report, then get the additional fields from the database and produce some mailing labels. Simple..!
I will need then to create similar additional tabs for covering letters etc.. - but if I get the mailing labels out of the way first I hope to understand the workings ok.
Should I use a sub-report for this... if yes how...if no what then and how..!
Thanks
Yours in confusion...
