Do I Need To Reinstall ColdFusion Sever 4.5

Please Help!!! I reinstalled IIS, and am now having problems browsing to coldfusion documents. When I do browse to a .cfm page, only html code is viewed--CFML code is being displayed as "code", (eg, #lookup.firstname#). If I browse to the administrator page, I am promoted to save or open the coldfusion administrator page.

If I browse to a page with a form, and submit the form data to a cfml action page, I get the error: "Error 405--method not allowed."

Please help with any ideas--do I need to reinstall ColdFusion Server 4.5?

Go into your website properties, and under 'Documents', add 'index.cfm' to the list. I had this problem just the other day.


If that doesn't work, try specifying a full path name, for example:

http://www.yoursite.com/index.cfm

instead of

http://www.yoursite.com

See if that helps.
